Fifth Grade Vikings

Welcome

Welcome to the fifth grade. I have many exciting things planned for our class. This year we are a self-contained class. However, Mrs. Tami Gotto is instructing half of our math class, and Mrs. Ramirez is teaching our students computer skills. Our students are also separated during physical education classes. Mrs. Laurie Gallegos is in charge of our ladies, and Mr. Sergio Gutierrez is coaching our gentlemen.

Masses

As part of our religious education curriculum we will attend Mass each Thursday morning, and we will attend monthly school Masses on the first Friday of each month. Our class is in charge of planning the October school liturgy.

JV Sports Program

Our students have the opportunity to participate in our after school junior varsity sports program. There are no cuts, and there is an emphasis on learning skills and having fun. The privilege to participate in the sports program comes with the responsibility to maintain grades of C or better in all subjects, including effort and behavior.

Altar Servers

Many of our students have answered the call to serve their parish by becoming altar servers. Please remember that you are responsible for any work you have missed while you are away from the classroom.
