About Us

Our Mission
Saint Louise de Marillac Parish is a Roman Catholic family of believers. We are a People of God, guided by the Holy Spirit
in the saving work of Jesus Christ.

We are committed to establishing and promoting the Kingdom of God by believing in and maintaining a personal and communal relationship with Jesus Christ and the Church throughout the world.

We do this through the Word, the Eucharist, the Sacraments, devotions, prayer and fellowship, dedicating our lives to His service.

Overview

A parish in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, St. Louise de Marillac is a community of people founded on the traditions and teachings of the Roman Catholic faith.  We are committed to living in the fullness of our faith and embracing those seeking a relationship with Jesus Christ.

We number about 4,600 households, drawn from Charter Oak, Covina, Glendora, San Dimas, and the surrounding area.  We are a blend of different cultures and languages – a diversity that strengthens our unity and gives substance to the warm welcome we extend to all.

In addition to the celebration of Sunday and weekday Masses, we offer a great variety of ministries and activities.  There are religious programs, service opportunities, and social groups for men, women, and children of every age.  We invite you to join us for Mass, participate in whatever activities interest you, quickly find friends, and become an active part our parish life.  Welcome to St. Louise!

You are an important part of the St. Louise family, and we want to thank you for sharing your lives and making a personal investment in the parish’s success. We know you care about St. Louise, and appreciate your ideas, questions and opinions shared through the parish survey and at related community workshops.

As a result of all of these efforts, the following parish goals have been developed and are presented for your review and comment. In pastoral planning, goals are related to our priorities and flow from our mission as a church. These goals are broad, general descriptions that explain what is to be done and the parish’s focus.  In this next phase of the planning process, the exact method of achieving each goal will come with the development of specific objectives for every goal.

Thank you for being a constant companion on this journey, as we continue to seek God and discern where He wants to take the parish next.
