Principal's Message

Welcome to the 2011 – 2012 school year at St. Louise.  It is great to see students, parents, and staff after our summer break. It is always exciting to see smiling faces on campus.  After 39 years in education, the first day of school is still a thrill for me.  At St. Louise the focus has always been and will continue to be student achievement with a deep spiritual commitment.  We emphasize the California Standards at each grade level and continually strive to improve our instructional delivery to provide the best educational opportunities possible.

Several years ago a recruitment slogan for the United States Army declared: “Be all that you can be.”  This statement captures the essence of doing one’s personal best.  It is a challenge to raise one’s sights and raise expectations for each child.  Together, as parents and school staff, we can help each child develop personal goals that will reflect hard work, make proper decisions and seeing the values that God has given us.  We can and we will make a difference to continue to make St. Louise Second to None!

Sincerely,
Jim Mandala
