Like Jesus, we are to pour ourselves out in humble and loving service to others. In washing the feet of his disciples Jesus teaches us how we should serve the needs of others. We must have an open heart and prayerful disposition to heed this lesson. In addition, every time we receive Holy Communion, we can be strengthened to lead more Christ-like lives of love and service.
