A note to the parents and families from St. Louise School Principal, Catherin Ossa:

Dear Parents,

I know many of you have called the school office asking questions about how we will proceed in light of the pandemic that is occurring. I thank you for your patience as we are disseminating ever changing information.  The decision has been made to close all Catholic Schools within the Archdiocese of Los Angeles through March.  Please take the time to read the attached letter from our Superintendent of Schools, Mr. Paul Escala.  You may view the video announcement from Mr. Escala at https://vimeo.com/397509067/416e5637ce

I firmly believe that this is the right thing to do at this time.  My concern is first and foremost for the students and families at St. Louise.  Teachers and staff will meet on Monday to finalize our Plan for Instructional Continuity that will outline how remote or distance learning will look like for our students.  We will begin remote learning on Wednesday, March 18th, which will allow teachers the time to plan and prepare lessons for Week #1.

I continue to ask for your patience and your prayers as we work to continue to provide quality instruction.  I pray for the health of each of your families.

God Bless!

Mrs. Ossa
Principal
St. Louise de Marillac School
