The Assumption of Mary is the teaching that: “The Immaculate Mother of God, the ever Virgin Mary, having completed the course of her earthly life, was assumed body and soul into heavenly glory” [Pius XII, Munificentissimus Deus 44].
St. Louise de Marillac Parish will have two opportunities to participate in our Assumption of the Blessed Mary Virgin Mass:
Vigil of the Assumption: Friday, August 14th at 6:30 pm
The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary: Saturday, August 15th at 8:00 am
Please note that both masses are not considered a Holy Day of Obligation.
