Upcoming Lenten Events

For Lent this year, we will be doing our activities a little differently. We invite you all to join in as we grow in our faith in a safe way.

Stations of the Cross

Please go on to our Facebook and YoutTube page every Friday at 7 PM to see our Stations of the Cross led by one of our clergy and ministry leaders. It will begin this Friday, February 19th, and will take place every subsequent Friday until March 26th.

Outdoor Stations of the Cross

Join St. Louise de Marillac Faith Formation and School for a self-guided version of the Stations of the Cross on Fridays during Lent.  There will be stations set up outside that has been colored by the young disciples of our parish.  The self-guided meditations have been recorded by some of our parish Faith Formation and School families.  These outdoor stations will be available beginning on Friday, February 19, 2021, from 2:30 to 5:30 PM.  Once you complete the Stations you can spend some time with our Lord in Adoration.  To participate fully in this outdoor experience, bring your smartphone or wifi-enabled device.  The Stations will begin over by the Faith Formation Office.  We will be here to help get you started.

Parish Lenten Mission

The St. Louise Lenten Parish Mission took placed on Tuesday, February 23rd until Thursday, February 25th. If you missed this spiritually moving event, click the button below to be taken to the pre-recorded Lenten Mission!

In the mission, Fr. Jim Clarke and discusses “Lenten Transformation: Mission Impossible or Invitation Given?”

Lent is a time of preparation to celebrate the central mysteries of Christ’s gift of redemption. Liturgically we act this out so that one day we may truly “believe” (i.e. live into this great gift).  In this parish mission, we will unpack this mystery through ordinary language, stories, and examples of how we can live into this ongoing work of ever-deepening conversion. Bring your imagination!
